What is FCA All Ability?

"All Ability" refers to coaches and athletes who compete with physical and/or intellectual disabilities, emphasizing the inclusion of all categories within the disability community and the Biblical message that, in God, everyone is able. This environment is part of FCA's broader mission to engage, equip, and empower all coaches and athletes, including those with disabilities, to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

God teaches us in His word that He is able. In Ephesians 3:20 "Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us." We are made in God's image, so we are created for Him and by Him. The goal of All Abilities camps is to put this verse into practice.

The first FCA All Abilities Camp was held in Akron, Ohio in 2021. Since that time, the All Ability ministry of FCA has exploded not only in the Georgia Region but around the world.

Within FCA, you will see the terms All Ability and All Abilities used. For clarity, All Ability represents the sports culture of leagues and clubs, while All Abilities represents camps.

All Abilities Camps in Georgia

The first All Abilities Camp in Georgia was held in 2023. The camp had 26 athletes (campers) and over 190 volunteers. The camp was held at Madison County High School. The camp was a great success in that it displayed the love of Christ. The camp has grown each year since 2023. One of the goals of the camp is that it will grow throughout the state. In 2024, there were 30 camps around the globe and now there are over 50. We desire to see parents and athletes experience an All Abilities Camp.

In Georgia, our primary All Abilities Camp contact is Jason Myers.
